Assistant (Head of Primary)

This is a full time, ongoing position commencing Term 1 2027. 
Reporting to the Head of Primary, the Assistant Head of Primary is a member of the College Leadership Team. The role of Assistant Head of Primary involves overall responsibility for student management and pastoral programs in Early Childhood (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2).  
The Assistant Head of Primary also works closely with the Head of Primary and Assistant Head of Primary (Years 3-6) to support them in their roles. A focus for this position is to further strengthen our approach to improving student outcomes in the Early Years.  
We are seeking someone that:
•    Has extensive experience teaching in the Early Years. 
•    Has a willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the St Mary MacKillop College community.
•    Possesses, or is in the process of acquiring, Accreditation to Lead. 
•    Holds current Teachers Registration, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
•    Wholeheartedly embraces the culture and the vision of the College.
