Role description

Position Details:
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer to join our professional administration team. Workdays are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with flexible start and finish times available by agreement. The position is a 48-week appointment and includes four weeks of paid annual leave, to be taken during school holiday periods with the approval of the Principal.

Good Shepherd Catholic School is a double-stream primary school located in Lockridge. Good Shepherd is a very multicultural school with families coming from over 40 different countries and cultures. Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, and the preparation of financial reports.
• Proven experience in financial processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation, and general ledger management.
• Strong understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles and practices.
• Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
