Role description
Far North Queensland Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
The Attendance Officer monitors and follows up student attendance by generating daily absenteeism reports, maintaining OneSchool records, contacting parents/carers and identifying barriers affecting student engagement.
The role works with teachers, school leaders
and support services to address persistent absence, develop attendance strategies and provide broader administrative support including student counter duties, timetable changes, work experience, off-campus activities and first aid.
