The successful applicant needs to:

• Demonstrate knowledge and application of explicit instruction and the principles of the science of learning.
• Create a vibrant, inclusive and engaging learning environment where all students are valued, challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
• Implement effective student wellbeing strategies that promote positive relationships, student engagement and strong teacher–student connections.
• Use assessment data and evidence-informed practices to inform teaching, differentiate learning and enable ‘All Children to Achieve Success.’
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaborative planning, working flexibly and enthusiastically as part of a professional learning team.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary learning approaches, the Victorian Curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
• Use digital technologies and learning tools creatively and effectively to enhance student learning.

Special Requirements
