Individual Learning Teacher (Primary)

Mount Scopus Memorial College is one of the world’s most respected co-educational Jewish Day Schools. Operating across three world-class campuses in Melbourne, we support approximately 1,400 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 and employ a dedicated team of around 700 staff.

Our philosophy of learning and teaching is to foster positive relationships, explicitly teach Literacy and Numeracy skills and use an  inquiry-based, concept driven approach underpinned by high impact teaching strategies.

We invite qualified and experienced Individual Learning Teachers with a growth mindset and a passion for lifelong learning, who are inspired and motivated to work in a contemporary learning context, to apply for the (0.60) FTE part-time permanent position available at our Primary School in Caulfield South commencing from Term 1, 2027.  

Applicants must have the following;

• a current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, 

• Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in Special Education and/or qualifications in research based Literacy and Numeracy Intervention.

• at least three years experience implementing support and /or enhancement for primary school children in Literacy and Numeracy.

• a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children. 

• preferred but not essential, an understanding of the PYP and Inquiry Based Learning.
