Learning Assistant / Teacher Aid

We are excited to welcome a full-time Learning Assistant to our Learning Enrichment team at Carramar Campus, supporting a student living with diabetes. If you are passionate about helping young people thrive and have experience supporting students with additional needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This rewarding role will commence as soon as possible (or by negotiation in Term 1, 2027) and is offered as a 12-month contract. While the position is initially funded for one year, there is potential for it to be extended beyond 2027, subject to ongoing funding.

The School has the right to interview candidates from this pool, should any other Learning Assistant positions become available. 

THE ROLE

A Learning Enrichment Assistant is specifically employed to support the goals outlined in students’ documented or adjustment plans. 

Under the guidance of the Head of Learning Enrichment, the Learning Enrichment Assistant will work with students with diverse needs to develop their ability to access curriculum and assessments, follow classroom routines, increase independence, improve their organisational skills and develop social skills relevant to the School environment.
