About the Role
The Advanced Skills Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs that maximise student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing. The role involves assessing student learning needs, planning and implementing effective curriculum programs, monitoring student progress, and maintaining positive learning environments. In addition to classroom teaching, the position provides educational leadership by supporting curriculum development, staff development, pastoral care, resource management, and school improvement initiatives. The Advanced Skills Teacher works collaboratively with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community, while also mentoring teachers and pre-service teachers to build professional capacity.
