This hands-on role is based in schools and offers the opportunity to influence curriculum and assessment practice across multiple sites, work closely with school leaders, and contribute to system-wide improvement that delivers better outcomes for children and young people.

About the Role

The System Lead of Curriculum and Assessment (MSO1) provides strategic leadership and support in curriculum, assessment and pedagogy within the allocated MSO. The role will lead processes and operational approaches that improve curriculum implementation, assessment design, moderation, reporting and evidence-informed teaching practice across the MSO.
The role will drive excellence in curriculum design, assessment and teaching practice across MSO schools by leading and influencing school leadership teams in the implementation of a coherent and evidence-informed approach to teaching and learning. This includes overseeing the development, implementation and review of curriculum resources, professional learning, assessment calendars, moderation processes and subject leadership routines aligned to the MSO Education Model, Curriculum Handbook and School Improvement Handbook.
