The Opportunity

St Joseph's School, Murray Bridge is seeking an experienced and faith-filled leader to join our community as Deputy Principal.

Working closely with the Principal, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to drive excellence in teaching and learning, student wellbeing, faith formation and community engagement. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a welcoming and inclusive Reception to Year-9 school that values kindness, compassion and strong relationships.

As Deputy Principal, you will be a visible and approachable leader who supports staff, nurtures student growth and partners with families, parish and the wider community to create an environment where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Principal to lead school improvement and strategic priorities
• Strengthening Catholic identity and fostering Josephite traditions across the school community
• Leading teaching and learning excellence through evidence-informed practice and data-informed improvement
• Maintaining a classroom teaching presence that models exemplary practice and supports student learning
• Fostering student wellbeing, engagement, inclusion and positive behaviour
• Building staff capability and strengthening partnerships with families, parish and community
