Role description

Established in 1897, Sacred Heart College is a co-educational Catholic college in the Marist tradition, nurturing both day and boarding students’ holistic needs from Years 7 to 12, across two campuses.

Human Resources Assistant

  • Champagnat Campus (Years 7-9), Mitchell Park and Marcellin Campus (Years 10-12), Somerton Park
  • ESO Grade 4
  • Permanent position commencing as soon as possible
  • 30 to 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)
  • 45 weeks per year (negotiable)

The Human Resources Assistant primarily supports the effective and efficient management of the employee lifecycle across the College. The role assists the Human Resources (“HR”) Portfolio through administrative support, compliance management and assistance with recruitment and onboarding processes. Operating under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager and wider College staff, the Human Resources Assistant ensures that HR systems, processes and requirements are met in a timely and professional manner and that confidentiality and discretion is maintained at all times.

The Human Resources Assistant will also provide relief support as required to Reception and Student Services.

The successful applicant must complete our child-safe screening processes, including holding a Working with Children Clearance.
