Senior Participation Coordinator

This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing October 2026 up until December 2027 with possible extension and/or permanency.

Across the State, Regional Education Offices are responsible for supporting schools in the metropolitan and rural areas by promoting system initiatives, providing support and quality assurance and ensuring consistency in the implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the outcomes of schooling. Regional Education Offices are also required to ensure that each school within their area of responsibility complies with the relevant legislation and policies. The North Metropolitan Education Region comprises more than 250 public schools across the north metropolitan area from Cottesloe to Lancelin and east to Wooroloo.

The Role

The North Metropolitan Education Region is seeking a highly motivated, innovative and committed person for a Senior Participation Coordinator position to manage the Engagement and Transition program and other early intervention programs.

The Senior Participation Coordinator supports the Engagement and Transition Coordinators to provide strategic advice to schools in the Region to assist with the engagement and transition of selected at-risk or disengaged Year 7 and Year 10 students. The successful applicant will train, mentor and support Engagement and Transition Coordinators, monitor case management and may be required to performance manage team members.
