Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Piara Waters Primary School (PS) opened in February 2012 catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and is located in the suburb of Piara Waters (South Metropolitan Education Region). It is one of the largest primary schools in the state, and staff benefit from working in a large, collaborative team, to continually build their knowledge. As an Independent Public School, we utilise the flexibilities afforded to us, to ensure the highest possible outcomes for students.

The Role
As Deputy Principal, you would work closely with the Principal and members of the executive team to provide strategic educational leadership in the school and the community. You should be a strong leader, highly motivated and innovative, with strengths in understanding and leading curriculum and evidence-informed teaching and learning approaches.
