Role description
Far North Queensland Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
The Transition Pathways Officer works across a cluster of state high schools to support students at risk of leaving school before Year 12, providing case management, transition planning and interventions to help young people move into suitable education, training or
employment pathways.
The role also develops partnerships with schools, families, employers, community agencies and training providers, coordinates work-readiness and employment opportunities, and monitors and reports on the progress of identified students. This
position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.60FTE), 43.5 hours per fortnight.
