Visual Arts Teacher - Full-Time Permanent

The Headmaster seeks to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Christian educator who demonstrates a commitment to their Christian faith, as evidenced by regular attendance and involvement at a Church, to this full-time, permanent position within the highly professional, dynamic, and industrious Technology and Creative Design Faculty. The successful applicant will be required to teach Visual Arts in Stages 4, 5 and 6. The ability to teach D&T and or Textiles would be a distinct advantage. 

The staff of Macarthur are beneficiaries of Apple laptop computers (for the duration of employment), a supportive Christian teaching environment, and well-resourced facilities within Visual Arts Studios. These facilities are part of the Integrated Studies Precinct, which contains the teaching spaces for the Faculty of Technology and Creative Design, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Science.

Candidates for this role will be required to demonstrate: 

• a passion for teaching and a deep knowledge of the syllabus documents in Visual Arts; 
• a particular passion for Visual Arts, including your own practice; 
• an innovative approach to teaching and learning;
