Finance Officer

We are seeking an organised, experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our College community and provide high-quality financial and administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer.

Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, the Finance Officer plays an important role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of the Finance Office. The position is responsible for a broad range of financial functions, including financial processing and reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, taxation compliance, budgeting and general financial administration.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong financial and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, sound organisational capabilities and a high level of integrity and confidentiality. The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accurate financial records is essential, together with a commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality service.

Importantly, the Finance Officer will build and maintain positive and professional relationships with students, staff, families and external stakeholders. The College is seeking an individual who understands the importance of providing productive, responsive and friendly service within a school environment and who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.

Experience in a school or education environment will be highly regarded, as will experience across financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, accounts and compliance
