Executive Leadership Position

Concordia Lutheran College invites applications for the position of Head of Secondary College, commencing in January 2027. This is a pivotal Executive Leadership role responsible for leading the Secondary College (7–12), and Boarding program within our vibrant K–12 co‑educational Lutheran College.

The Head of Secondary College is a values‑driven leader who sets the cultural tone, inspires excellence, and ensures alignment with the College’s strategic direction. Through visible, relational and purposeful leadership, the successful candidate will cultivate a positive school culture, drive academic achievement, strengthen student wellbeing, and empower staff through professional growth and collaborative practice.

About the Role

The Head of Secondary College will:

• Provide strategic, cultural and educational leadership across Years 7–12, fostering innovation, inclusion and wellbeing.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Secondary College and Boarding program, ensuring a safe, welcoming and high‑performing environment.
• Lead curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting in partnership with the Director of Curriculum (Secondary College), ensuring compliance with QCAA, ACARA and College standards.
• Strengthen student wellbeing, behaviour frameworks and restorative practices through collaboration with the Director of Pastoral Care & Wellbeing (Secondary College).
