Health Centre Manager

The Health Centre provides health care to the Boarding students of Somerville House, as well as the day-to-day health and emergency first aid needs to the School.

The Health Centre Manager will work Monday to Friday (rostered withing the hours of  7.00am and 7.00pm) during school term time (40 weeks per annum), with a degree of flexibility required during school holiday periods as advised and negotiated.

Occasional on-call requirements may be required to assist with the needs of our Boarding Students after hours or on weekends.

Responsible for directing and implementing nursing services within the School, the Health Centre Manager will work with a team of two (2) registered nurses and one (1) administrator to carry out day-to-day responsibilities of the day school and boarding students.

About You

We are looking for a registered nurse who is genuine and passionate about providing care who has management or leadership experience in running a school health centre, residential facility or clinic. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and the innate ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the school and boarding house. With demonstrated initiative, confidence and determination you will run an active  and busy School Health Centre!

It would be highly advantageous if candidates have prior experience in an educational health centre.
