Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants (SNEA) permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Alinjarra Primary School (PS) provides a safe, caring and inclusive environment for students, which offers a full, student-centred curriculum and encourages strong community participation.

Catering for Kindergarten to Year 6 students, our community consists of a variety of nationalities with over 30 different languages spoken by our families. The Role

As SNEA, suitable applicants will under teacher direction, assist in the education programs and in promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment. SNEA will assist teachers in the delivery of planned education programs to assist students to reach their full potential through the development of their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills including the operation of computers and digital technologies. Within this role, suitable applicants would provide feedback when required on education and therapy programs and participate in the evaluation process relating to the achievement of goals in special education.
