This is a 6 month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Established in 1899, Parkerville Primary School has been offering families a quality education for their children for over a century. Growing from a one-roomed building in the heart of Parkerville before moving to the current location in 1962, the school is surrounded by the tranquil Jarrah forests synonymous with the Perth Hills area.

The Role

Join our team as a Special Needs Education Assistant and support the Department's objective of teaching and learning for students with special needs. You would assist in the implementation of specialised education programs such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy, helping to ensure that students receive the best possible education.

You should work closely with teachers to deliver planned education programs, including the use of computers and digital technologies, and will be responsible for implementing individual student or small group programs or demonstrations. Additionally, you will provide feedback on educatio…
