Role description

Join the dedicated team at St Columba’s College, where young women are empowered to think critically, act with courage, and make meaningful connections with the world around them.

 

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our learning community. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about music and committed to creating engaging learning experiences that inspire students to develop their musical skills, confidence and creativity.

 

This is fixed term part time (0.4-0.6FTE) position for 2027.

 

You will:

  • Deliver engaging Music programs that develop students’ knowledge, skills, creativity and confidence.
  • Inspire students through practical, collaborative and performance-based learning experiences.
  • Plan and deliver differentiated learning that supports students with a range of musical abilities and interests.
  • Contribute to the wider musical life of the College through performances, ensembles, events and co-curricular opportunities.

 

We want to hear from you if you are an educator who has:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration, with relevant Music teaching experience.
  • Strong musical knowledge and the ability to teach engaging and contemporary Music programs.
  • A passion for inspiring young people through music and supporting students to develop their confidence and creativity.
  • A collaborative and positive approach, with a commitment to Catholic education and the values of Compassion, Justice, Hope, Truth and Love.
