We have an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and caring Diverse Learning Teacher (Primary) to join the supportive team at St Mary's CPS, Orange. The Diverse Learning Teacher plays a vital role in ensuring every child is supported to achieve their personal best within an inclusive, faith-based environment.
We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:
- Coordinating the identification and support of students with additional needs, including the development, review, and maintenance of Personalised Plans and NCCD documentation.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to implement effective adjustments, evidence-based interventions, and Universal Design for Learning approaches.
- Using assessment data, classroom observations, and teacher input to identify learning needs and monitor student progress.
- Coordinating referrals, specialist assessments, and SWAN Funding applications in partnership with families, school leaders, and relevant professionals.
- Developing Learning Support Officer timetables and providing guidance to ensure support aligns with identified student needs and funded programs.
- Supporting the implementation of Response to Intervention and Multi Tiered System of Supports, including targeted literacy and numeracy instruction.
