Role description
This role is responsible for the effective coordination, delivery and quality of the co-curricular sports program for students in Years 7–12. The position leads and supports a team of coaches to ensure a high-quality sporting experience that encourages participation, skill development, wellbeing and pathways to excellence.
This permanent role commences January 2027 and is offered at 0.64 FTE, working 28 hours per week for 41 weeks of the year. This role requires availability to work from 7.00am three mornings a week, and two Saturday’s a month.
The key responsibilities are to:
- Coordinate and manage the Year 7–12 co-curricular sports program, balancing participation, performance and excellence.
- Lead, mentor and support coaches to deliver quality programs aligned with College expectations and values.
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and communication for training, fixtures and events.
- Support the Director of Sport in recruitment, compliance, budget and resource management.
- Ensure team selection processes are fair, transparent and consistent with College policies.
- Collaborate with the Property Services team to maintain safe, compliant sporting facilities and equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, staff and external sporting organisations.
- Contribute to the promotion and communication of sport across the College community.
- Model and promote sportsmanship and positive participation across all programs.
