Role description
Cathedral College Wangaratta welcomes applications from enthusiastic and qualified candidates for the full-time position of Teaching and Learning Leader – Learning Enhancement from Prep – Year Twelve.
This job attracts a Level Four Position of Responsibility allowance (as per the Cathedral College Agreement), and a time release of 0.6. Applicants for this position should teach within the Learning Enhancement faculty. The appointment will be for five years.
Students with specific needs and talents are identified using data from a range of sources including school reports, test results, NAPLAN, assessments, observational and specialist assessments and reports, together with anecdotal evidence from teaching staff.
Through a collaborative planning model these students are provided with adjustments to participate and progress through the curriculum within an inclusive model. Adjustments to teaching and learning assist the student in the classroom along with Teaching Assistants who work to enhance personalised and small group learning support in the classroom lessons.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and committed team of staff who play a significant role in planning, delivering, and reflecting on Learning Enhancement across the School. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2027.
