Role description
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide high-level, confidential executive, administrative and project support to the Diocesan Director, Catholic Education Diocese of Port Pirie.
Based in our Port Pirie Catholic Education Office, this pivotal role supports strategic priorities across the Diocese through close collaboration with the Diocesan Director and a broad range of stakeholders across schools, parishes, Chancery and Catholic Education offices. You will provide trusted executive support to the Diocesan Director while coordinating complex priorities, stakeholder engagement, governance processes and key diocesan initiatives.
With a high degree of autonomy, the role requires initiative, discretion and sound judgement, along with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters and represent the Director professionally in a range of executive and stakeholder interactions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level executive and confidential administrative support to the Diocesan Director
- Managing complex diaries, travel arrangements, itineraries, correspondence and meeting preparation
- Coordinating agendas, reports, briefing papers, minutes and action items
- Supporting confidential and sensitive matters, including Professional Standards-related activities
- Building strong relationships across schools, parishes, diocesan offices, government agencies and external organisations
