Role description
Position Details:
Notre Dame Catholic Primary School is a double stream co-educational primary school catering for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 with an approximate enrolment of 500 students. The school enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and the strong support of the parent community and places a significant emphasis on excellence in teaching and learning. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic team in 2027 for three days a week.
Selection Criteria:
- An understanding of the Early Years pedagogy, including play-based learning, explicit teaching and inquiry to promote best practice.
- Have an understanding of and the ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs.
- The ability to integrate technology into the teaching and learning program.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills that contribute to productive working relationships and outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
Appropriate Early Childhood Education qualification (Graduate Teachers are encouraged to apply)
Accreditation (or working towards) to teach Religious Education
