Role description

Position Details: 

The Science Teacher will be an essential member of the dedicated and passionate science team, committed to delivering a dynamic and engaging science curriculum. This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues, students, and the wider community to foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in inspiring students’ curiosity and passion for science, contributing to the academic excellence and holistic development that Mercedes College is known for.

We are particularly seeking a teacher with experience in teaching upper school subjects, either ATAR or General. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging students across all levels, with a special emphasis on those pursuing upper school sciences. As an integral member of our community, this Teacher will deliver high-quality science education while building strong connections with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.

We currently have two full time ongoing positions available. Experience in Physics and Psychology would be highly regarded for these roles.
