Humanities & Social Sciences Teacher (History)
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher with ATAR History teaching experience to join our Humanities and Social Sciences learning area in a full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2027.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging educator with strong subject knowledge in Humanities and Social Sciences and demonstrated experience teaching History at senior secondary/ATAR level. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of History across the College, including ATAR History, while also having the capacity to contribute across the broader Humanities and Social Sciences learning area.
The successful applicant will have a passion for creating engaging and academically rigorous learning experiences that support students to achieve their potential. They will foster students’ historical thinking, critical analysis, research and written communication skills, while encouraging intellectual curiosity and an appreciation of the connections between historical events and contemporary society.
The successful applicant will be expected to actively support the Catholic ethos and values of the College and contribute to its broader pastoral and co-curricular life. They will also be required to participate in relevant Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) and Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA Ltd) professional formation and accreditation processes.
