School Learning Officer

Commencement Date: Monday, 25th January 2027 

Employment Type: Term-time permanent position (20 hours per week) with additional varied hours annually as operationally required. 

Salary Range: School Officer Level 3 - $34.17 to $35.62 Gross per hour

St Gerard Majella School is a co-educational Catholic primary school in the Cairns southern suburb of Woree.  With a healthy enrolment of around 400 students from Prep to Year six, the school has always been a highly regarded and well-sought-after Catholic primary school.

This role is an opportunity for a School Learning Officer to assist students and teachers in implementing aspects of their learning plans and assist with developmentally appropriate student learning, either individually or in groups. This position will involve collaborating with and supporting students in achieving their learning goals. This position may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
