Role description

Classroom teacher in a Reception to Year 2 class.Deliver engaging lessons to junior primary students, following Manoora Primary School's curriculum and practices.
Implement the LGU phonics and morphology scope and sequence as part of daily literacy instruction.
Use a problem-solving approach in mathematics, supporting students to develop critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Plan and assess learning experiences in accordance with the South Australian Curriculum.
Participate in whole-school combined lessons and activities, supporting collaboration and school community.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Monitor student progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to students and parents.
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events as required.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Must have, or be willing to develop: Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, LGU phonics and morphology scope and sequence.
Understanding and experience in using a problem-solving approach with maths teaching.
Familiarity with the South Australian Curriculum or similar frameworks.
Ability to develop engaging and differentiated learning programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to collaborative practice and willingness to participate in whole-school activities.
