Role description


This is a 36 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible permanency

Gascoyne Junction Remote Community School (GJRCS) offers teachers the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the learning and lives of students while becoming part of a small, connected community.

Located approximately 178 kilometres east of Carnarvon, GJRCS serves students from Gascoyne Junction, Woodgimia Community and, at times, surrounding pastoral stations. Our enrolment is small and can change across the year, creating a genuinely multi-age teaching environment where knowing each student well is essential.

Relationships are central to how we work. Staff build strong connections with students and families and are active participants in the wider community. Our School Council, Shire and local organisations are important partners in school life, and the 2024 Public School Review recognised the high levels of trust and community investment in our school.

The Role
