Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
South Bunbury Education Support Centre (ESC) is a specialist setting which caters to the needs of students with a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder with high educational need. Staff at South Bunbury ESC have a holistic view of education. We aim to support students to be their best in all areas of development through individualised support and implementation of programs to support academic, sensory, and social-emotional needs.

The Role
The Deputy Principal at South Bunbury ESC has a key role in contributing to the development of strategic and operational planning and reporting. Ideally, this will require a strong knowledge of current department strategic direction and policy documents. It is important that suitable applicants have the ability to collect and analyse relevant data which can be used to inform strategic planning.
It is desirable that our Deputy Principal has a good knowledge of SIS (Integris), Compass, Reporting to Parents and Microsoft programs, particularly Word and Excel. Knowledge and experience with programs which support the collection of academic and behaviour data (e.g. Pulse) will be highly regarded.
