Role description

We are currently seeking teacher for VCE Computing, VCE Systems Engineering, and Digital Technology. This is a leave replacement position from 19 October 2026 to the end of the school year. 

Remuneration will be based on experience, following the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

Job Description:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a child-safe environment for students.
  • Adhering to the school's Child Protection Policy and Child Safety Staff Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, such as Class/House Mentors, Education Support Team, Year Level/House Coordinators, School Psychologists, and Directors of Students, to monitor student progress and well-being.
  • Providing timely marking and feedback to student work.
  • Ensuring up-to-date student data management systems.
  • Developing and delivering programs that leverage technology to enhance learning.
  • Setting and maintaining high expectations for student performance standards.
  • Complying with ongoing professional development requirements as per VIT guidelines.
