Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.

We are currently seeking to appoint a SecondaryTeacher /Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) to commence at our Pakenham campus in January 2027. A teaching load will apply in addition to Head of Teaching & Learning responsibilities (initial three-year POR appointment).

The Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) is an important position of responsibility within the school’s management structure, assisting the Principal (Pakenham) by ensuring the delivery of high-quality Christ-centred education for students in Years 7 to 12.

As a respected teacher, the Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary) will provide educational leadership and act as a mentor to staff members while fostering an environment for their continued development. They will lead by setting a godly example to staff members and students in their teaching practice, relationships and lifestyle.
