Role description
The Opportunity
St Francis School offers an exciting opportunity for motivated co-educators to join our Learning Support team for 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Catholic ethos of St Francis School.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, co-educators and allied health professionals as part of the school's support programs.
- Deliver Tier 3 intervention in literacy and numeracy.
- Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs, complex behaviours and Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
- Assist students with physical care requirements where required.
- Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities.
- Use restorative practices and processes to support positive relationships and resolve conflict situations.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or delegate.
About You
- Have a strong understanding of child development and learning.
- Demonstrate experience working collaboratively as part of a team of educators.
- Have experience delivering Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with students, staff and families.
- Be committed to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
- Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (essential).
- Have completed, or be willing to complete, Continence Care training.
- Be willing to undertake all required screening and compliance checks.
