The Opportunity

St Francis School offers an exciting opportunity for motivated co-educators to join our Learning Support team for 2027.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Catholic ethos of St Francis School.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, co-educators and allied health professionals as part of the school's support programs.
• Deliver Tier 3 intervention in literacy and numeracy.
• Provide supervision and care for all students, including those with identified special needs, complex behaviours and Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Assist students with physical care requirements where required.
• Actively participate in school activities, staff meetings and professional learning opportunities.
• Use restorative practices and processes to support positive relationships and resolve conflict situations.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Principal or delegate.

About You

• Have a strong understanding of child development and learning.
• Demonstrate experience working collaboratively as part of a team of educators.
• Have experience delivering Tier 3 literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Be committed to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.
• Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (essential).
• Have completed, or be willing to complete, Continence Care training.
• Be willing to undertake all required screening and compliance checks.
