The Role

As Program Coordinator – Instructional Excellence, the successful applicants will provide educational leadership across the college, ensuring students have access to high-quality, engaging, evidence-based instruction that combines rigour with support. Working closely with the Deputy Principal – Instructional Excellence and in alignment with our College Directions, they will hold teachers to the highest expectations, ensuring consistency across the college, while providing the coaching, modelling and support staff need to meet them. Key areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Lead MTSS Tier 1 Academic Support for all students through the implementation and ongoing development of AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) as the college's core instructional framework, including the AVID Tertiary and Career Readiness Framework, across all learning areas.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the college's Instructional Model and Playbook to build consistency, predictability, and high expectations in every classroom.
