Position Information

Murray High School is located in Lavington in the city of Albury, on the NSW/Victorian border, within the culturally rich Wiradjuri nation. The school draws from a diverse community, with 10% of the student population being Aboriginal and a further 20% of students from English as an Additional Language/ Dialect (EAL/D) background.

Our welfare and student conduct practices are built on the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) and a developing understanding of Choice Theory and Reality Therapy. Murray High School enjoys strong connections with the local community, including Charles Sturt and Latrobe Universities, and schools in our network are highly and mutually supportive.

2027 will see the introduction of a high potential and gifted education (HPGE) class focusing on the creative and intellectual domains. The school is well known for its staff collegiality across all sectors of teaching and non-teaching support personnel.
