Caringbah High School is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney and is an academically selective, coeducational high school with over 900 students from Years 7–12. The school has a proud tradition of academic excellence, with students consistently achieving outstanding Higher School Certificate results.

Caringbah High School is a culturally diverse community, with approximately 60% of students coming from a language background other than English and 1% of students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
