Position Information
Nimmitabel Public School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of Teaching Principal. The school is a small rural school in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, it stands on the lands of the Ngarigo people and is situated 35 kilometres from Cooma.
Nimmitabel Public School currently serving 13 students, including approximately 38% who identify as Aboriginal and 23% EALD, predominately draws from the rural areas of Nimmitabel and the surrounding Monaro region. Nimmitabel is a collaborative and proud rural community that thrive on community contributions and supporting the school.
The school structure consists of one multi-grade class with one full time Teaching Principal. The part time staff include; two temporary classroom teachers, two School Learning Support Officers, a School Administration Manager and a General Assistant.
