The Geelong College invites applications from passionate, experienced and innovative educators for the position of Teacher of Art (Years 4-8) based at our Middle School Campus.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to teach Visual Art across Years 4-8 and contribute to a dynamic learning community committed to excellence in teaching and learning, strong pastoral care and a rich co-curricular program.
The College will consider applications from candidates seeking a position of between 0.8 FTE and 1.0 FTE, and welcomes applications from those interested in any FTE within this range.
The successful applicant will design and deliver engaging, contemporary and accessible Visual Art learning experiences that encourage creativity, active participation and growth for all learners. The role also includes serving as a Learning Mentor for a Year 7/8 homeroom, supporting the academic, personal and wellbeing needs of students.
This successful applicant will contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the College, including participation in the College's sporting and experiential learning programs, and actively support the Christian ethos of the School.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Relevant educational qualification and experience in a similar teaching role
