Role description

Classroom Teacher Position (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and innovative classroom teacher to join our school in 2027. The successful applicant will embrace a culture of high expectations, thrive within a dynamic and caring professional community, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering the holistic development of students in a Catholic educational context.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • a commitment to evidence-based best practices, with experience in or capacity to enact explicit and direct instruction approaches/strategies
  • an understanding of Structured Literacy
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
  • the ability to use student assessment information to inform whole-class and targeted small group instruction
  • the ability to promote student wellbeing and engagement
  • the capacity to build and maintain professional, respectful, and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
