Role description
Applications are invited for a full-time, fixed-term position of Classroom Teacher to commence on Thursday 8 October, 2026. This is a fixed term contract position for Term 4 of the 2026 school year.
The days of work are Thursdays and Fridays
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. The St Clement of Rome Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy, and Child Safety Code of Conduct are attached below.
The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, and demonstrate knowledge of the science of learning. They will demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, and be able to provide care and support for students, whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.
The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
Accreditation to teach Religious Education is preferred.
