Role description

Position Details: 
St Francis' School is a Catholic co-educational secondary CaRE (Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education) school located in Maddington currently catering for students in Years 10-12. 
The school provides a caring, supportive and inclusive learning environment for young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education. 
The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for the effective financial administration of the school and works closely with the Principal to support financial management, compliance, facilities coordination, workplace health and safety administration and operational management. 
The role contributes to the ongoing financial sustainability and operational effectiveness of the school through accurate financial reporting, sound financial practices, effective administration systems and a commitment to continuous improvement. 
Consistent with the Administrative and Technical Services Level 5 classification, the Senior Finance Officer exercises a high degree of autonomy, initiative, discretion and accountability in the performance of their duties. 
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.  
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified and/or experienced, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to provide the appropriate expertise in bookkeeping and be able to provide assistance to the Principal whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school.
