Role description

The teacher is appointed to Instrumental Music Port Lincoln High Music Focus School and other networks as required. The teacher will be based in Port Lincoln and work in a network of adjacent lower Eyre Peninsula Schools.

The position requires:
- Small group instrumental teaching, individual year 12 tuition and ensemble conducting.
- Working as a member of the school staff and in collaboration with other schools
- Delivering instrumental programs based on Australian Curriculum and SACE frameworks.

This position includes:
- Teaching woodwind instruments in groups in primary years
- Teaching one woodwind in groups in secondary years, and other woodwind instruments by negotiation.
- Conducting bands and ensembles in primary years, with secondary years by negotiation.
- Using IT as appropriate.
The position may include distance teaching by negotiation.
