Role description
Indulkana Anangu School is located on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia. Guided by our school values of kunpu (strong), wanganara (respectful), and arkara (try your best), we deliver quality education to children and young people in Indulkana community.
Indulkana is a well-resourced remote community, home to the vibrant Iwantja Arts Centre, a community store, and a health clinic, located approximately 50 km from Marla off the Stuart Highway.
We nurture and help our students to develop skills as leaders of tomorrow in both Anangu and Western culture.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early years team. The Preschool teacher will work closely in a team, lead by our Early Years Coordinator, with our Early Years Anangu Educators, Junior Primary Teacher, and Families as First Teachers (FAFT) SSO.
In this position, the teacher will deliver the Early Years Learning Framework in a culturally responsive environment, planning alongside Anangu educators to deliver strong learning outcomes in both English and First Language. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching in a remote bilingual setting.
