Role description
Ernabella Anangu School is a Birth to Year 12 Aboriginal school located in Pukatja Community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far northwest corner of South Australia. Ernabella is the largest community in the APY Lands and is home to the world-famous Ernabella Art Centre, surrounded by the stunning western Musgrave Ranges, approximately 330 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs.
Most students speak Pitjantjatjara as their first language and learn Standard Australian English as an additional language or dialect. The school works closely with Anangu educators, families and community members to provide high-quality, culturally responsive education in a strong two-way learning environment.
