The External Assessment Implementation Unit is responsible for managing the marking, implementation and quality assurance of the senior external assessment program for Year 12 students. The Principal Project Officer works closely with the Manager, External Assessment Implementation Unit, supporting schools to administer senior assessments and managing the processes that govern the marking of external assessments and Senior External Examinations.

What you will do
In the Principal Project Officer role, you will:
- Lead teams responsible for processes to support state-wide implementation of external assessment, including stakeholder communications, marker recruitment, fileShare and Senior External Assessment (SEE) spoken assessments.
- Liaise with Principal Education Officers, Learning Area Managers and external stakeholders to enact efficient marking operations, data collection and analysis, and marker intervention as required.
- Liaise with external contractors and lead related internal processes across branches of the QCAA for printing, scanning, marking and reconciliation activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
