Position Overview
Sapphire Coast Anglican College is a PK-12, independent, Anglican College and is a Christ-centred, student-focused, community-minded school that develops extraordinary learners with a passion to serve others. Established in 1994, the College is located on the Far South Coast of NSW in the heart of the Bega Valley with an enrolment of approximately 465 students.
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Sapphire Coast Anglican College, you will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning experiences that are engaging and meaningful. This role is full time, ongoing. Commencing in January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Mathematics curriculum in a dynamic way in the classroom, using initiative in bringing fresh and creative ideas to the classroom
- Teaching Stage 4, 5 and 6 Mathematics, as required by the College
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment with a focus on explicit instruction, developing deep understanding and the use of assessment for learning
- Provide innovative assessment that is clear and fair and provide regular and meaningful feedback
- Possess strong IT skills with the ability to integrate digital technologies into the teaching and learning program
- Experience teaching Mathematics Extension 1 would be advantageous, but not essential
