Role description
This full time, fixed term position will commence on 27 January 2027.
We are seeking a creative, passionate, knowledgeable and skilled classroom teachers. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience, through a collaborative approach to learning and teaching. Desired applicants will have knowledge and the capacity to build high quality learning and teaching programs that meet the needs of all students and are linked to evidence based practice.
The successful applicants will:
- have a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of all children
- possess the qualifications, skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
- have an understanding of and a commitment to the Science of Learning
- be prepared to be involved in extra curricular school activities
- have accreditation to teach or lead Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- have a Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- provide three professional referees including current Principal on resume
In addition, successful applicants will be expected to:
- Commit to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school’s vision
- Commit to the Nazareth Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- Commit to ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
