Role description
Our Learning Support Officers (LSOs) work closely with our Education Leaders and classroom teachers to foster inclusive and productive learning environments. We are seeking creative, passionate, and committed LSOs to join our supportive school community. LSOs, guided and supported by classroom teachers, are integral to supporting tailored educational programs that drive student success and inclusion.
Working under the general supervision and direction of the Education Leader and classroom teachers, the key responsibilities include:
- Individualised Intervention: Providing support with student learning through the development and implementation of individualised approaches and targeted intervention strategies.
- Progress Evaluation: Contributing to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of student progress, documenting outcomes, and providing feedback to supervising staff.
- Positive Learning Environment: Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and productive atmosphere that promotes student independence and resilience.
Applicants must have:
- An understanding of and commitment to legal and moral obligations relating to Child Safety Standards
- A valid Working With Children Check
