Role description
Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking an experienced and proactive Junior Netball Co-ordinator to lead the Junior Netball program within our thriving Artemis Sport Program.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach, educator and program coordinator who is passionate about developing young people and delivering high-quality sporting experiences for girls. Reporting to the Head of Netball, you will provide leadership and coordination across our junior age-group program, supporting coaches and creating an environment where students can develop their skills, confidence and love of netball.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program is well organised, developmentally appropriate and provides an outstanding experience for every student involved.
About the Role
As the Junior Netball Coordinator, you will lead the delivery of our Junior Netball pathway, from introducing young students to the game through our Fundamentals Program to coordinating teams competing in the Yarra Netball Association.
Key Responsibilities
Working a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating and coaching the Junior Netball Fundamentals Program.
Managing Junior Netball teams competing in the Yarra Netball Association.
Recruiting, onboarding and supporting coaches.
Managing program administration and communications.
Coordinating team selections, training schedules and competition logistics.
Building positive relationships and communications with students, families and coaches.
Attending Saturday matches and supporting game-day operations.
